Letitia

Letitia joined the team at Dunsandel Childcare & Preschool in 2022, bringing with her a warm and friendly presence, a background in administration, and a genuine love for being around young children. After relocating from Christchurch, Letitia and her husband settled in Southbridge with their two children and their beloved dog, Major. Since the move, she has embraced small-town life and built strong connections within the local community.

In her role at the preschool, Letitia seamlessly blends her experience in office administration with hands-on support in the classrooms. She manages the centre’s day-to-day admin tasks with efficiency and care, while also cherishing opportunities to step into the learning spaces to engage with the tamariki. For Letitia, working in early childhood education provides the perfect balance – combining her organisational strengths with her passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing.

Her nurturing nature extends beyond the preschool gates. At home, Letitia fosters kittens, offering them a safe and loving environment until they find their forever homes. Her household is full of energy, kindness, and laughter – a reflection of her caring and community-minded spirit.

Whether she’s welcoming families at the front desk, assisting kaiako in the classroom, or comforting a child with a smile, Letitia plays an important role in helping create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
